Kate's Birthday Celebration

August 11, 2019

Last Wednesday 7th August Kate's family arranged a celebration for what would have been her birthday. Family members and members of FRAG and the local archaeological community met at the familiar East Wear Bay dig site. There was a celebration of Kate's birthday with party food followed by a releasing of (biodegradable) balloons which soared far into the evening sky. Kate's mum Janet shared a few words with us too. This is exactly what Kate had wanted. For many of us, this is where we first met her and we were glad to back to celebrate her wishes.
