Geological and Fossil Field Trip, Sun 6 Oct 2019, 10:30am-13:30pm

Friends,

For your information:

Folkestone is famous for the cliff and gault clay at Copt Point, and in the Warren, and East Wear Bay. Rapidly eroding cliffs yield a vast range of ammonites, crabs, belemnites, bivalves etc.

Here is an event organized by UKAFH ((UK Association of Fossil Hunters ) and UK Fossils via Eventbrite.

Hard hat and high vis vests essential (not provided).

* Members only, but sign-up and you can then join other UKAFH events throughout the year for free. Membership is £19.95 for the year (UKAFH Solo).
