Volunteers to help with summer events in Folkestone Museum
A message from our dear friends at Folkestone Museum!
Thank you to those of you who have shown interest in volunteering at the Museum. The Museum will be in touch with you shortly. Whether or not you feel able to volunteer on a regular basis, some of you may be interested in the exciting programme of family events that the Museum are planning during the school holidays. Volunteers are wanted to act as stewards and assist with events and workshops/crafts. The programme will run from 24 July to 30 August with events happening most days. The full programme is attached and here are some of the highlights:
29,31 July, 2 August Punch and Judy Performances
1 August Victorian egg decorating
19-22 August. Fossil roadshow
23 August Paper Dinosaur Craft
27 August Pirate hat craft.
Volunteers are needed for events shown in italics or underlined in the attached programme. If you are able to help in any way, please get in touch with Sian Drew.
It is great to see the Museum putting on this full and varied programme of family events. If you can offer your help in any way this would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your support to the Museum.
